Mom waited until 5:30 for the vet’s call. It never came. Mom called the office and the girl who answered was confused as to why the vet hadn’t called with the results yet (apparently they’re in). She told Mom that she’d get a message to the doctor right away. So Mom waited some more….for a call that never came. She waited for nothing.
While she was waiting for a call, i was waiting for her….ALL DAY! When she finally got home from work, the waiting was worth it:
I hate Mondays but I love Monday evenings!

I’ve lost 0.4 lbs since 2/13!

Good job on the weight loss. Sorry your vet didn’t call, they will call soon sometimes times gets away from them with a really busy day. Nice snuggly pictures.

I’m sorry the vet didn’t call your mom! That’s happened to my moms before, too. Hopefully she’ll get to talk to them tomorrow morning. Hang in there and happy snuggling!

I’ll keep my toes crossed for you while we wait with you for the results. Congratulations on the weight loss. I actually gained weight this week, for the first time since starting my diet. My Humans are not impressed, but luckily they are all blaming each other for sneaking me treats – I’ll just stay out of this fight *snicker*

Oh that’s the worst when you have to wait for such phonecalls… but I’m sure you will get this call today. And I’m sure this call brings good news to you. Congrats for a win on the weight-front, that’s always hard candy to manage that weight-challenge I know :o)

Yes it is. It takes a big effort. Last year my Mom lost 15 lbs. Good luck to momwithoutpaws!!!

Hi Schmoodly Noodly – Perhaps your vet, like many people doctors, only call if anything is wrong? Maybe your blood test and stuff came back as normal? Keeping legs crossed for you (I’m good at that). Woof! Ray.

That seems to be the consensus. Mom blames it on being a Monday. Also, we saw a new doctor at the office (there are 6!) so Mom is also wondering if that has something to do with it.
