Yesterday was all about Dad and his boy. I helped him move stuff around on the back porch/deck. By “helped him”, I mean I laid on the patio furniture and watched to make sure he didn’t hurt himself. In between moves, I gave him kisses to let him know he had my full support.

Even when Mom got home, I laid with Dad. Don’t get me wrong. I was excited to see Mom but she ruined it. She was paying attention to Cheney (the bird) and I needed loves. So, I hung out with my Dad. He doesn’t baby me like Mom does but he always looks me right in the eyes when he tells me he loves me.

That’s what life is all about. Loving and feeling loved. As much as I love new toys and biscuits, nothing beats hearing Mom and Dad tell me how much they love me. Even though I know it, it’s so reassuring to hear it. I’m so lucky that they tell me everyday, many times a day.

Make sure you tell your loved ones you love them – humans, pups, and otherwise. Even if you have already done it, it can’t hurt to tell them again.

I was a discarded, lost little stray without a house or a family...until my mom found me. Now, I am the happiest, most loved dog in the whole world!

Yes……… isn’t it nice when they talk really softly and stroke your head, or chin, or tummy. When my Dad holds his hand out palm upwards, I put my chin on it and then he wiggles his fingers. It’s so nice!

    • When Mom and Dad rub my chest, I make really funny noises. I keep begging Mom to make my blog video-capable. I think she’s going to do it soon so everyone can see and hear me 🙂

Do I have to you use your FB account to show pics? Seeing you cuddled up to your Mum and Dad reminded me of a pic that my Mum took as my Dad and I were settling down for a nap. I can’t see anything in your blog for visitors to attach (or insert) pics. Tell your Mum to get on to it so we dogs can keep chatting! Woof!

      • After some research, Mom found out there is no way to insert an image into a comment. You can only embed YouTube videos and Tweets. Who wants to Tweet?!?! I’m a dog for crying out loud, not a bird! Don’t they know I very much dislike birds???

Hi Noodle: Most of the Blog activity is with humans so my Dad can take care of that. All my doggy talk will be on FB.

Hi Noodle ………… me again. It just crossed my mind that I may have confused you so let me try again. Our Blog (my Dad’s really!) is for my Dad to tell my story. I would be quite happy to stay in touch with you through your blog and/or FB. Given that FB allows pics, it is a little more friendly for social stuff. My Dad is interested to know why you would want to be active in WordPress and FB. He knows that FB is a great sharing software for your blog, but doing both regularly seems like a lot of work. Woof! Ray.

      • I prefer to use both because some people frequent FB more often and are less likely to venture to wordpress. As you know, I basically use FB to announce new blog entries. I am also using FB to be able to use videos. I feel that using both FB and WordPress, I can reach more people. It is a bit of work but Mom thinks it’s important to share with people how much a rescue can impact both the lives of the dog (or any animal) and the human.

Pups do not live on food and water alone, but every word from the mouth of their Human. 😉 I feel lucky to have such wonderful and loving family, too! *wags*

    • I have to say, I’m a pretty needy boy. I think I’d sooner die from not getting a hug or I-love-you than from starving to death.

      P.S.
I love your sweatshirt! You did so good at training today!

Thanks, Noodle! It’s been daily progress on training. The session you saw was from last week at this point. Unfortunately it is raining today and I’m not feeling brave enough to even do my business outside yet. :/
