Hello and Happppppppppppppy Fridayyyyyyy!
Things, as usual, are so busy!
Last weekend, Mom’s best friend, her husband, their son, and their dog came to visit. Yes, another dog was in this house! Benny (the dog) has been here before but that was when it was only Macy and me, not Molly, Macy, and me.
No worries, though, everything went well. Molly and Benny never had contact without a gate or door between them. Now, Macy on the other hand….her and Benny became fast BFFs. He has an energy level to match hers and they just had a blast.
Me? I stuck close to the kid. Kids always have yummy tastes on them and they drop all kinds of delicious stuff.
They stayed until Saturday evening and it was a lot of fun seeing them all.
Speaking of Saturday, we have obedience school every Saturday morning.
As bad as I did the first week, I NAILED week 2!
Week 1 we were supposed to learn to heel on the left side and sit when told which would eventually become something called an “automatic sit”. Well, I just flat-out refused to sit. Not at class, not at home, nowhere. When we got to class on Saturday, Mom told my teacher, Miss Terah. You know what happened, she took the leash and 30 seconds later I sat. Know what happened after that? Mom got me to sit on the first try….then the second….third…and every try after. Mom says Miss Terah has magic.
So Saturday we learned “leave it” and “stay”. Macy and I already knew “stay” so we were ahead of the others. “Leave it” was fun. All the dogs and their moms/dads got up and started walking in all different directions. If I turned my head to look at a passing dog, I was told “leave it”. Guess what? I rocked that command too!
So, here we are a week later (almost) and I have class 3 tomorrow.
In the meantime, we have new company coming tonight. Dad’s oldest daughter, her 2 sons, her boyfriend, and his daughter and son will be here soon. On Monday, everyone except Dad’s 2 grandsons will be leaving. They’ll be staying with us for the week. More yummies!
Mom: Noodle, you can eat any yummies right now. We’re trying to figure out what you’re allergic too.
Mom, tell that to the kids and see how that works out for ya. BOL!
Anywho, I leave you with some snuggly pics in case you forgot what we look like….
…and a silly pic.
Have a great weekend!!!
Congrats on nailing week 2. Sometimes you gotta do that for the hoomans.
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley

Miss Terah has the patience of a saint. She will wait forever until I do what she asks so I might as well get it over with, right?

Congratulations Noodle on doing so well at class! We knew you would. We obey the leave it command really good too. My Margret says it’s because we practice it so much!
Gotta love following those little people around we sure get lots of treats when we had our little people here. Have fun! ~ nose nudges Belle for the rest of the Pups and Kitties.

Yeah, Miss Terah showed Mom and Dad a fun way to teach us “leave it” using treats. Even without treats, Mom and Dad have been saying “leave it” so much lately. We’re testing our boundaries. BOL!

Ask Ms. Terah is she wants to take on Sophie. Her obedience teacher had years of experience. The puppies had gone to her in 2000. I think the women retired after Sophie.

BOL! BOL! BOL! OMD! We have a scottie in our class and Miss Terah said they are VERY difficult dogs. She said she wanted one her whole life but every now and then, one comes into her class and she remembers why she doesn’t have one. I bet she could train her though. She has doggy-magic.

wow that are super news Noodle!!! to find the reason for allergies is like looking for a needle in a hay stack…. the mama got a diary from her dogtor once where she had to write down efurrything what landed in her belly for four weeks. The mama is the mama and she thought it sounds odd to note a ton of häagen dazs, a truckload of vanilla popcorn and other weird stuff and so the reason of allergies is still a mystery :o( Have a super week with your guests we hope for more good news from Casa Noodle :o)

Hey, maybe your Mom is allergic to vanilla?! Maybe she can only have chocolate. Whoa!

Oh my! Lots of fun company and new little kids to play with! We are hoping that the mystery of your itchies can be solved – maybe if you invited Sherlock Holmes to visit you????
Have fun!

What a super fun update, N. At my obedience school, Mr. Clark, the teacher told all the moms with little dogs not to agonize over the automatic sit. When Mom stops walking, I mostly do sit, but sometimes I just stop and stand by her side. Mr. Clark said sometimes tiny dogs are reluctant to make themselves tinier. As long as I know to stop when Mom stops, that’s fine with her. Have fun with the kidlets. I see some floor-pies in your future. Yum.

Cupcake, ever since Miss Terah had me sit the one time, I automatic sit EVERY time! Mom agrees, though. As long as I stop with her, that’s good enough. Macy on the other hand is big and needs to sit because her waggly tail can do some serious damage if she’s just standing around. *ear licks* Noodle

I didn’t pass my big test yet! That’s in 2 weeks. Mom really wants me to do well because she says if I do, I can maybe visit kids in the hospital or the elderly in nursing homes. That would make me happy. *ear licks* Noodle

No B&B! Unless my blog friends want to visit. Otherwise, no more company after this for awhile. Thank you, Ms. Monika. I’m working really hard!
