I have them.
First, Mom abandoned my blog. Then, she abandoned Dad, my sisters, and most of all, ME!
Where did she go, you ask? Does it matter?! She left me!
MOM: Noodle, it does matter! I didn’t leave you because I wanted to. I left you because I had to! Tell your friends the WHOLE story or no story at all.
Yikes! Fine…
Mom went down to South FL to visit her great-aunt who, at 98 years old, can no longer live at home alone anymore. She will be moving up to NY this week and mom had to go and see her before she left because Mom doesn’t fly and likely won’t be going to NY anytime in the near future.
In other words, I was abandoned. Left to fend for myself from Friday morning until Sunday afternoon.
Mom: Not true, little man. Your Dad was home.
I repeat, left to fend for myself.
Mom: Valid point. Continue…
Thank you!
So, yeah…we were all really sad and on Friday night, none of us got any sleep because we were all wiggly as worms. Finally, Dad moved to Mom’s side of the bed and we all settled into our normal spots. Saturday night he started out on Mom’s side and we slept peacefully all night 🙂
We’re all much happier now that Mom is home. All of us got snuggle time with Mom….except Dad. She’s all ours and he can’t have her. I wish she was all mine but I’m not allowed to be a Mom-hog.
In other news, my Lexi has put up her 9th and 10th reasons why she’s the #1 choice for Blogville Mayor. Make sure you head on over to see what she has to say:

What a story. I am sure that was pure torturing for you all, also fo Mom. The family must stay togehter, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

Noodle Doodle, you just come stay with me next time your Mom abandons you! I have been abandoned with my Dad before and I totally understand. Did you scream your head off with excitement when she came home?

Well, I would have but Dad was eating when she got home and, well…I barely even said hi to her. She said I really hurt her feelings. 😦

As a dad I resent the comment about being left alone even though he was at home. As a dad I take perfect care of my five cats when mom leaves. The only problem I have after five years in this house, I still have trouble remembering where the food bowls are.

Mr. Peyton, some dad’s are really good at being mom and dad when they have to. Not my dad. He’s a great Dad and while we didn’t starve, mom’s mom-ness was very missed.

The ONLY good thingy about a Mom … leaving… is that the DADs Do NOT know or Follow the RULES… THAT pawt is FUN and very FULL FILLING… if you get our drift…
BUTT other than THAT… we WANT the MOMs AT HOME , RIGHT?
Glad that YOURS is back where she BELONGS.

As long as you’re ALL happy now that your Mom is home, that’s the important thing!!!! I don’t like being abandoned either – even if Dad is still here – I must know Mom is close by or I’m just not happy.

Thank goodness your mom got home before you all died of sadness. Your dad was brilliant to figure out he had to sleep in Mom’s spot. He is a smart cookie! Cookie. Mmmmm… Cookie.

Noodle tell your mom that she should have come to visit her friends here in South Florida. Just remember that you are loved and that you have a dad to take care of you. Your sisters might not be very helpful, but you dad takes care of you.

Ah Noodle I’m glad Mom’s back home and things are back to normal. I’m pretty sure she missed you guys as much or even more than you missed her. I love that Dad moved over to Mom’s side of the bed so you all could sleep. It takes a pretty special dad to figure that out. ~Hugs and cuddles, Mrs. Margret

Mrs. Margret, Mom called Dad an hour after leaving to check on me and to tell him she missed me so much already. We love each other a lot. Mom was pretty impressed by Dad’s idea to move over, too 🙂

Crikey Noodle … I’m sure glad your Mom’s back! Dads do try, aye, but they’ve got no idea really!! My Dad expects me to eat my breakfast yoghurt out of a bowl on the floor. No way I’ll eat it like that. Mum hand feeds it to me from a spoon. Id starve to death if she left me with Dad.

Noodle…..Your mom did not abandon you. She was at my house and you hate that long ride in the car. Your mom split her time between me and our Aunt. It was my turn to have my lil girl for 1 1/2 days. She was hardly gone by the time she returned to you. All I listened to the whole time was how much your mom miss you, your sisters and Jamie. She said it was too quiet in my house. I offered to sleep across her but that wasn’t what she wanted. Your mom wanted you……Love, pets and ear scratches…..Grandma

BOL! Grandma, you can’t sleep on my Mom’s lap. That’s too funny. I’m glad she thought about us while she was gone. Please don’t take her away again any time soon, okay? *ear licks*

Oh silly, Noodle. Mom’s need time away at times and going to see her aunt is a very valid reason. You should be giving her puppy kisses galore for her thoughtful loving. Glad all is back to normal now for effuryone’s sake. ღ
