She’s at it again – being BAD!
Macy has taken a liking to zippers. By liking, I mean she likes to chew them just enough that they stop working.
Exhibit A
The first incident. Mom’s jacket. She separated the zipper from the material and chewed one of the plastic zip pieces off so Mom can’t get the zipper started.
Exhibit B
Last night’s victim. Dad’s shorts. She chewed off the zip pieces in the middle of Dad’s zipper causing the zipper doo-dad to derail.
Mom can still get her jacket to work, kinda-sorta-sometimes. Dad’s shorts…GONERS!
BAD MACY!
Uh-oh… Naughty Macy, but also naughty Mom and Dad. Leaving delicious zippers around where Macy can get them is a recipe for disaster. Close those closet doors!!
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Grandma called Mom right after this post went up to yell at Mom for leaving clothes around. In Mom’s defense, her jacket was hanging on the back of a chair. Dad has no defense. He left his shorts on the bed after he changed into jeans. *ear licks* Noodle

Oh gosh – my Mom says there’s NO nutritional value in a zipper so why try to eat them?! Maybe it’s just the CHALLENGE Macy loves!!!

Macy! We like the creative way that you see how small of a chew it takes so the zipper won’t work. Our favorites to chew are socks, dish towels, Kleenex, napkins and bread wrapper ties. Have you tried any of those? We esp recommend socks that have been tucked into shoes, they are really stinky which makes them all the more awesome! You have inspired us. ~ gentle nose nudges, Bonnie, Belle and Bess pups

Shaking piggy head. Oh Macy – we so understand the dilemma here at the Hotel Thompson. You see mom/dad bought this beautiful NEW couch last May. It came with a gagillion pillows that all had zippers. Guess who doesn’t appreciate zippers – yep – Houdini. He blew up some of those zippers and mom had to resew them without zippers. Zippers are evil. XOXO – Bacon

Snorts! Yep – shaking head. You are right my friend. Once after ripping off a zipper, he climbed in and went to sleep inside of the pillow. Mom/dad couldn’t find him and were about to call the Scooby Doo gang in to find out the mystery. That’s when they heard him snoring inside of the pillow. XOXO – Bacon

Singing: “Macy and Riley sitting in a tree, z-i-p-p-i-n-g.” Riley used to meticulously tear the stitches out of our bed quilt as well as chew holes in every sheet and blanket he could find. The only way to stop him was to crate him.

Sophie chewed up the plastic piece on the back of a ball cap that tightens it. She also dislodged the metal piece on the top of the cap. Sisters can be a pain.
