Hi, friends! Just popping in to let you all know that Macy is resting much more comfortably.

She was up most of the night with Mom, sleeping only  from 12-2 and 6-7:30. Mom and I slept on a pile of blankets in front of Macy’s crate. At one point, Mom was even in Macy’s crate with her.

Macy stopped crying after she finally went pee at 3:15 in the morning.

She’s fully alert today and no longer needs to be slinged during walks.

After her quick walk this afternoon, Mom put her in her favorite chair and sat with her so she could look out the window for a bit.

Her appetite is still small but she IS eating…and burping…a lot while eating. Piggy.

Anywho, I’m off to catch some much needed sleep. Talk to you tomorrow!

      I get to lounge around all day now and do nothing. I don’t get in trouble for anything! It’s awesome.

    I know you and your Mom must be exhausted, but relieved Macy is heading in the right direction. If you have a spare bedroom with a bed you might pull the mattress onto the floor and sleep there with Macy. That’s what I did with Lexi for several months up until the day she went to the rainbow bridge. (Not that Macy is heading that direction…I’ll sign off now and see if someone can pry my foot out of my mouth.) ❤

      That’s right! We forgot about that. Great idea, Mom#2!!! As soon as her sutures come out that’s a possibility. Until then, Mom wants her to wear her cone when she’s unsupervised and Mom refuses to sleep next to her while she wears that jabby thing. *ear licks*
