Hey, everyone!
Jamison is responding so well to his new medications. I believe it’s your prayers that are doing all the magic.
He’s eating more and more. I got 12 ml of food in him last hour. Yesterday I was lucky to only get 6 ml at a time (at the most), and the goal is 10 ml/hour!
He’s more responsive to touch and closes his eyes when I pet his head now.
Just this morning he turned his head to sniff the cup I’m using to draw his food into the syringe. I’m hopeful that by tomorrow he’ll try to eat on his own. I don’t know if that’s realistic or not.
I stayed home from work today to take care of him. Tomorrow I’m leaving him in Greg’s hands. The thought of being away from him terrifies me. If he’s eating on his own, I’ll feel a little bit better about it.
I took the following video early this morning for all of you. It does get graphic when I lift his leg to show the wounds on his abdomen.
To those of you who have messaged to say that you’ve sent money to help: thank you from the bottom of my heart. I truly hate accepting money from any of you. Especially since you all were so kind with helping me get Molly taken care of when we got her.

Gosh, he looks much better than I expected. This is good news and Sam, the Ninja and I will continue our heartfelt POTP and healing energy. Fingers and paws crossed he continues to make progress to full recovery. Ear rubs, Jamison-get better sweet boy. 🐱

Mom’s eyes leaked a bit. She hates to see animals hurt. But she is so grateful that he is getting better. You are great pawrents to be so caring and attentive. Jamison, our prayers are still coming. Hugs!

I loved seeing Jamison swish his tail in displeasure about you lifting his leg and filming his private area wounds. Poor baby. I think you are right, he is getting stronger and better. I think of you both often through the day and send up a prayer each time.

He’s getting feisty again. I keep waiting to get bit or scratched. It’s only a matter of time. I’ll accept it happily when it comes.

Mom couldn’t look – she’s OK with looking at deaded people all day long (and usually deaded pretty badly) but she starts bawling like a little kid if she sees an animal hurt. But we are SO happy Jamison is responding to treatment!

Thanks for this update….how wonderful to see that tail wagging a bit – his wounds are horrific of course and it’s AMAZING he survived – a testament to his will, the work of the vets, and to the home care he’s getting from you Samantha! Any improvement is wonderful but if he’s beginning to eat better that will give him more strength to KEEP improving….he’s still got a lot of healing to do. LOVE helps so much. We’re sending tons of POTP and prayers – Angel Sammy has all the Angels at the Bridge working to keep him on the road to recovery too!

Good morning, Pam. I love the tail wag. It’s even more waggly today. He’s putting up a good fight when I try to pill him. He’s eating a decent amount of food and I just keep praying he’ll eat on his own soon. It feels good thinking about Sammy and the other Angels watching over him. *hugs*
