Good day my wonderful friends!

Sorry I haven’t been around for the last week and a half but Mom abandoned me. It was very unsettling.

Mom: Noodle! Don’t tell people that! I did not, and would not, EVER abandon you!

*ahem*

Mom left all of us, including Dad, for 4 days. 4 WHOLE DAYS! She wasn’t even in the same state anymore. She flew all the way to Philadelphia.

I knew things were bad when the luggage came out of the closet. It’s NEVER a good sign when the luggage comes out.

While she was gone, Macy and Molly went on hunger strikes and I was a nervous nellie, glued to Dad’s side. Even Dad was sad. Every noise we heard, we ran to the windows and barked (not Dad). It was never Mom, though.

Mom: Eventually it was me.

Eventually?! Do you know how long 4 days is to a dog?! You see how excited we get when you come home after being gone 15 minutes!

*sigh*

Anyway, yes, Mom “eventually” came home to us and we finally were able to settle down. Macy and Molly have started eating again and, well, come to think of it, I guess I’m still not settled. I’m still choosing to sit with Dad over Mom and that’s not really normal.

Eh, normal schnormal. I’m too Noodly to be normal 🙂

About noodle4president

I was a discarded, lost little stray without a house or a family...until my mom found me. Now, I am the happiest, most loved dog in the whole world!

  1. It’s scary when your humans go away and don’t come back for a long time! I’m glad your Mom came back safe and sound.

  2. Moms should never be allowed to leave without us. It throws off the whole balance of nature. I’m happy she’s back, but teaching her a little lesson can’t hurt, N.

I abandoned, er, left Lexi a few times when I had to go away without her, and she never ever stopped eating either. More proof you have schnauzer in you, Noodle. You might want to give your Mom some loving, though. ❤ Mom #2

We feel your pain. Mom has never left us. When Shelby had her surgery, it was the only time that we have all not been together. It was one long night. Glad that she is back.

I know it’s tough when Moms (and or Dads) go away but I’m guessing your mom had a really good reason why she had to be gone. Noodle I bet she’d love it if you went and sat by her. by the way kudos to Dad for taking such good care of you, Macy and Molly and the rest of the fam. while she was gone. ~cuddles and hugs Mrs. Margret
