Oh, the pain! The cruelty! The unfairness!
Friends, it happened again. Again but different this time. So different.
Let me back up.
I went out to play this afternoon. It was SO beautiful out. Not too hot, not cold. So I went over to my favorite dirt rolling spot. I rolled. Then I rolled some more. Again and again and again. It felt SO good. All the dirt getting all over my skin. Scratching the itches I can’t reach. *roll, roll, roll* *scratch, scratch, scratch*
MUCH BETTER!
*runs up to the porch and jumps on the door to be let in*
Mom: NOODLE! NOT AGAIN! OMG! THAT’S IT! YOU’RE GETTING ANOTHER BATH AND YOU’RE NOT COMING INSIDE FOR IT!
Wait…what? Not coming inside?
10 minutes passed before she came back outside. That’s when it happened. She dragged me onto the deck.
Mom: I’m taking pictures for evidence.
“But, Mom, look how happy it makes me! Dirty feels SO much better than clean feels!”
“Come on! Look at this smile!”
My friends, it didn’t work.
I got blasted with the hose. Oh, and it wasn’t just any hose water. It was FREEZING hose water.
(Side note from Mom: I actually did feel bad for having to bathe him in such cold water but there was no going inside once I got him wet. He turned into mud.)
I have never felt such cold water in my whole life!
“I don’t think I’ll ever forgive you for this, Mom”
*sigh*
Mom is insisting that I show you a side-by-side comparison of clean vs. dirty.
Well, hmmm. Okay, I guess I was a little bit dirty.

Moms are fast!! Kali was all loving with mom cause she was high as a kite but did mom care? Not in this lifetime! She quickly soaped and rinsed purring Kali down.

Poor Noodle! We humans just don’t get you guys. Mine get the same treatment but in the sink! I bet that water was cold but I know your Mom dried you off real good. Do you like to be blow dried or toweled? We have one of each.

PL, there were NO TREATS! The only good part was when Mom wrapped me in a towel, took me in the house, and rocked me in the recliner. *shudders* It was all so terrible.

Yikes!! We know that water is cold and not fun. But you have to admit the saying “don’t bite the hand that feeds you” – or “don’t dirty the hand that feeds you” might be what your Mama is going for. But you did look sooooo happy all dirty!!

only in an emergency,I have only had a couple of proper baths,but in general bunnies don’t need baths just a bit of spot cleaning with a damp cloth,xx Speedy
