I have such super exciting news!!!!!
Mom was finally able to order DNA test kits for Macy and me!!!!
After a bit of research and lots of review-reading, she opted for the Wisdom Panel 4.0.
It should be here in about 5-10 days. Then, Mom will swab our cheeks – I don’t know if I should be scared or not – and send the swabs back. 2-3 weeks after that, we’ll get some results.
So, I came up with a fun idea. Let’s do a poll to see what everyone thinks our main results will be. If you don’t know what a certain breed is, click the image and it will take you to a description.

Interesting idea. I’ve thought of doing it for River. The shelter said she was a pitt/boxer mix. The vet thinks there is more in there and refer to her as just a boxer mix. And I’ve run into one gentleman who swears she looks like a boxer/point mix – no pit at all. Would be fun to know.

Having a doofus myself, it’s my favorite breed. Plus he’s a ‘little man’ so I think I won the dog lottery on breeds even before the DNA results come back! 😉

The swabby was NOT a Q-Tip. I’m going to post about it in a few minutes. Mom never heard of a lowchen until she saw it in the breed library. I think that’s me!!! Macy’s breed is still “doofus”. *ear licks* and *head rubs*

Noodle, sweetie pie, there is absolutely no pain with the swabbing. It’s kind of like a quick pat to the inside of your mouth. 🙂 I guessed you as a schnoodle like we have said all along, and Macy as a Great Dane/American Staffordshire Terrier Mix.
