Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

Guess who did good today? That’s right! This guy riiiiiiight here.

I started out Mother’s Day by letting Mom sleep in until 8:30!!!! Now, when you’re a hungry puppy, 8:30 is like waiting until lunch time for breakfast! But I did it and I did it good because Mom was soooooo happy!

The girls, well they don’t quite understand how Mother’s Day works. No. Not at all.

When Mom let them outside, they dug a huge hole to China and then a tunnel to London. They were FILTHY!

Then, after breakfast, Molly and Macy got into a fight. Now that Macy has stopped backing down, their fights last a lot longer. No blood but lots of teeth and spit and scary noises.

Mom was super upset/angry.

You know what made her smile? Me! Wearing my silly lampshade.

Later on in the morning, after Molly was off punishment, the girls ganged up on me and tried to swallow my head.

Yep, Mom took a picture instead of saving me. Thanks, Mom!

No worries, though. I can handle myself. I jumped on Macy’s head and told her to sniff my armpits.

When Dad got home, he helped us give Mom the card we got her. He was hiding it for us.

We all signed it (including Dad’s plants BOL)!!!

Mom was super happy again.

After that they went out grocery shopping and then when they came home, we all went outside for sunshine-energy.

Macy couldn’t stop staring at the pool.

She couldn’t decide if she wanted to go in or not.

Mom wasn’t going to make her go in. That is, until Macy did back wiggles in the dirt and was muddy because Mom had been sprinkling water on her. Into the pool she went!

And she LOVED it!

Once she was in, Mom couldn’t get her out.

Molly thought she was insane and wanted nothing to do with it.

Eventually Mom dragged Macy out because she wouldn’t stop drinking the water. She was even swimming with her mouth open!

Mom took her to the back patio to dry off because Macy is the stinkiest wet dog in the history of wet dogs.

Nothing a little sunshine couldn’t fix.

Macy’s been so good all afternoon/evening. She’s finally tired for the first time ever!

And there you have it….Mother’s Day at our house 🙂

We hope all of you made sure your Mom’s had a special day. They deserve it for putting up with us and our crazy antics!

Sound like a pretty good Mother’s Day. Your dad really found the perfect card for all of you! You look very adorable in your lampshade, N. …even when your head is being swallowed by naughty sisters.

  10. Noodle, sweetie, you were the one on the card who was in charge! Way to go, boyfriend. Say, it looks like your cone turned out to be a good thing – it kept your head from being swallowed. And Macy swimming – that is G.R.8. You found something to keep her busy and tire her out. Maybe you should encourage her to go swimming every day. Please wish your Momma a belated happy Mom’s day from your best girl.

    • Yep! I’m the leader! Small but mighty!

Hey, maybe I’ll keep this cone?! It’s like armor 🙂

If only it didn’t take Macy a hundred years to dry, I bet Mom would let her swim everyday. I’ll have to talk to Mom about this.

Mom says thank you very much! Please wish your Mom a belated happy mother’s day from me, too!

      Love,
      Your Guy

  12. I can’t wait to get out my swimmy-pool! Joey dog won’t go anywhere near it, and thinks i’m nuts because I like to get wet in the water.

Every time that I think of complaining about my three dogs, I think about your house and say ALL IS GOOD. It might be chaotic, but there is never teeth or blood.
