Hi there, friends!

I have so much to tell you all so I’m gonna get right down to business.

First, the other day Mom found a red-winged blackbird in the middle of the city highway! How he wasn’t run over was a miracle. How Mom wasn’t run over when she crossed 3 lanes to save him was also a miracle. He had an owwie on his eye so Mom brought him home.

She and Dad flushed his eye a few time with salt water and before you know it (2 days) later, he was ready to be set free! He was really cute. I heard Mom tell him “If you ever need anything, come back and see us.” BOL! She’s silly.

After the bird left, we got a wonderful package in the mail from our friends over at 15andmeowing. My BFF, Purrince Siddhartha Henry, entered Jamison into their Passover giveaway. He’s super nice like that. The prizes were awesome: a kippa (yarmulke), a catnip mat and catnip toys – a fish, a matzo ball, and an orange. Check it out:

Miss Ellen was even so nice to make me a kippa of my own!!!!

It has me thinking of potato latkes!!! I can’t wait to wear it this coming Hanukkah while Mom lights the menorah.

Anyway, thank you so so so much Miss Ellen and Kitties!!!

Next: Macy’s 2nd pawdicure.

Purple! Cool, huh?

Ya know, for such a big, bossy dog, she’s such a baby. Look at her being all needy the other night:

img_20160423_210354.jpg

Molly has been doing okay. No major problems lately. She’s super needy too. ALL.THE.TIME!

img_20160429_195021.jpg

Moving on. Snooter Tooter got an upgrade to his home this week. Dad added a whole new section to he can run and play soccer without having to come out into the yard.

img_20160421_175348.jpg      img_20160428_184159.jpg

The picture on the left is from before Snooter got his expansion. As you can see, he’s really tamed down.

He’s been vocalizing A LOT lately.

What do you make of this, Bacon? You’re the only other pig I know. Hopefully you can translate this.

Last but certainly not least, ME!

img_20160422_132948.jpg

I’m doing great! My stomach seems to be doing better so we’re starting the VERY SLOW transition back to normal (non-prescription) food.

I’ve been spending a lot of time with Mom lately. She gives the best snuggles.

img_20160429_195126.jpg

She lets me share her Snuggy with her 🙂

Yesterday evening she took this video of me doing the it’s-time-for-dinner staredown:

Don’t forget to turn your volume up so you can hear my begging noises.

So, there you have it. A week’s worth of information in one post!

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

BONUS: Someone lent Mom this book to read about the famous dog named Oogy who was a bait dog. It’s not a sad book. It’s very well-written and full of love and happy! She recommends it to all of you, especially Colin. She said it made her think of you.

Hi Noodle buddy. Glad to hear that things are looking good for you, but I feel sorry for Macy. Her nose is so sensitive to things that having that stuff on her nails must be really uncomfortable for her. I’ll try and remember to tell my Dad about that book! Take care buddy! Woof! Ray.

    • Hi Ray No worries about the smell. It’s a non-toxic children’s polish with a glue base (similar to Elmer’s glue). It has hardly any smell at all. When mom uses real polish on herself, it makes Macy sneeze and buck like a bull! Mom wouldn’t do that to her.

Oh my goodness that is one of my very favorite books!! It was awesome!! Happy that your tummy is better and that all the pups are doing good. Snuggles are the best and you must have got some extras since you were not feeling good. Have a wonderful weekend!!

  4. Imagine your mom rescuing that wee bird. Your mom is brave. You won lotsa stuff and nice stuff too. Concats to you Noodle. I love the purple polish on the nails…Mom would like to use it next. She does suit purple. Everybody around her thinks they’re royalty so I guess we could paint everyone’s nails. MOL

    • Brave, insane… Not sure which. The nail polish doesn’t last long. It’s kid’s nail polish and mom thinks it’s colored glue because it smells like glue and peels. Mom used it because it’s non-toxic and dried fairly fast. She got it at the dollar store 🙂

Snooter is lucky he doesn’t live here. Mom would have him in the tub before he could say, “I’m a pig. I’m SUPPOSED to look like this!!” Your dinner speaking was sweet, and really said what it needed to say. “Speed it up, woman! Gimme the goods!”

    Love and licks,

You have shamed me into making yamulkes for the Scotties. Does Snooter have one? Does he follow a Kosher diet? There are just so many questions in my mind. Oogy looks so pathetic. I will look for the book.

    • Bahahaha! Please post pics when you’re done! Snooter does not have one. He did, in fact, tell Mom that he would like to convert to Judaism but isn’t sure how that would work out.

Oogy is such a happy dog. His story is wonderfully heartwarming.

  13. That are such great news, I’m happy with you that your stomachs are ok and that you look so fab with your kippa! Hughs to your mom, that was nice to rescue that little berd… I always remember the jewish talmud saying: And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world… I think that’s what your momma did that day as she brought the berd home..

  17. Hi Noodle Sweetie. So much has been happening in both our homes. First, we totally zoned on Passover – so, we hope it was a time of both peace and joy in your home.

Your Mom has a heart of gold to risk her life to save a birdie. And she is so smart to know how to treat his eye.

I know you love snugglies, honey, and am glad your Mom has had time to share her blankie with you. After seeing you in the video I would have given you anything you wanted with those pitiful little sounds you were making. Hey, that could be a pawsolympic event!!

And you look so very dapper in your very own kippa – how nice of Miss Ellen and S.H.

    • Thank you for the Passover wishes. It was nice but we didn’t have a seder because all of our family lives elsewhere. Mom hopes to have one again some day. Mom was nuts crossing that highway. Luckily, the spot she crossed at was close to a light so when it turned red, she didn’t have a lot of traffic to contend with. Begging as an Olympic event?! GENIUS!!!! Just another reason why YOU should be the next Blogville Mayor 🙂 *ear licks* for my wiggly girl.

How did I miss this posting? OMP! Snooter – you are awesome. I understood you completely my friend. You were talking about how you love your new house and you wanted to have your belly rubbed. I know – I like to be pig tipped too. Snorts and oinks my sweet friend. XOXO – Bacon

    • Pig tipped?! This is a thing? Sometimes he falls over just from Mom and Dad looking at him. So he’s happy? Whew! We thought those noises were noises of distress. Thanks, Bacon! *ear licks*

Snorts – anytime my friends. See I’ll tell you what pig tipping is about. Are you ready? Snooters humans can rub his sides just a certain way and then BOOM he will tipped over and want to be rubbed. We call it pig tipping but it actually relaxes the oinker. Try it and see what happens. Let me know okay. XOXO – Bacon

        Liked by 1 person

      • Yes, that does happen to him!!! Like I said, sometimes if they look at him just right he’ll tip!

    • Oh, P.S. – Personal question, Bacon: How much do you weigh? How many cups/lbs of pig feed do you get a day?

      Like

      • Piglove says:

Snorts! I weigh 45 pounds. I’m a miniature pot bellied oinker. I get one scoop of pig chow and cheerios for breakfast, a snack during the day and 1 scoop of pig chow with my salad at night. Mom/dad stretch my food out throughout the day. XOXO – Bacon

        Liked by 1 person

      • How big is your scoop? I think Snooter’s is 3 cups and he gets 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening.

Then Scooter is a well fed and happy oinker – snorts with piggy laughter. I would get about the same if I just got piggy chow. Mom supplements my food with her food. For instance, I get 1 cup of piggy chow with Cheerios for breakfast. At lunch time, I get fruit and veggies. At dinner time, I get 1 cup of piggy chow and a salad. And when mom is cooking in the kitchen, I’m her sous chef – you know for like potato peels, some carrots or other things. XOXO – Bacon
