I’ve been hit! Man down! Man down!
Blehhhh.
I have a stomach bug.
It started Monday night. I had accidents in the house. It continued Tuesday. By the time Mom got home around 7:30 pm, Dad told her that since Monday night, he had cleaned up 16 “pile puddles”. Mom made me some rice and chicken broth and I scarfed it down.
In the middle of the night I made 2 more “pile puddles”, so Mom kept some in a Ziploc and made me an appointment with the vet this morning. Dad took me there….BY HIMSELF! My Mom didn’t go with me š¦
They tested the sample that Mom kept Ziploc-fresh and found…..CLOSTRIDIUM BACTERIA!!!! In my poop!!! I have the beginning of colitis šÆ
The good news? I’m on my very first chicken and rice diet! You’ll never guess how long I get to be on it for. Go ahead. Try and guess.

I also get antibioticsĀ andĀ probiotics, and since we areĀ out of pill pockets, I got my pill with peanut butter tonight!
No worries. I’ll be back to myself in no time! Well, I might milk this a little bit. I mean, chicken and rice??? WAHOOOOOOO!

Oh no, sweetiekins! I hate you felt bad. Chicken and rice – you’ve never had it? Really?? Yum, yum. And a little plain yogurt is great for adding probiotics. If you’ve never had yogurt, believe me, you will love it. Hmmm, I wonder if the chicken bone you supposedly ate had anything to do with this. Did your Mom ask? I hope you aren’t having runny poop piles anymore. Your Mom sure was smart to take in your poop so they didn’t have to stick a stick up your patootie. Are you feeling better? I have had yogurt before…DElicious! OMD! We forgot about the chicken bone!!!! OMD! OMD! OMD! Mom’s calling the vet this morning. Thank you for reminding us, my love. I still had very yucky poop this morning but no accidents last night. I’m glad they didn’t put a stick up my butt! It was bad enough Mom took my temperature first thing in the morning. I was eating grass this morning. My tummy is still upset but I’m betting the chicken and rice will make it better! I love you, too, my beauty queen *ear licks*

Bacteria bugs do NOT sound very fun for you OR your parents. Poor little guy! I’m happy you get to be on the chicken and rice diet AND get some peanut butter with your medicine. That’s a definite plus. Feel better soon, buddy. xoxo

Oh Noodle I’m sorry you’re sick with a bad bug. Glad you get some good food out of the deal and if they hide your medicine in it – that’s even better. Hopefully none of the other critters will get this – what a poop-a-rama THAT would be!

Urghhhh Noodle you poor thing..we have had the old diet shenanigans with Doc and his allergies and Forrest and his arthur-eye-tis and really i could scream hahahaah like a science experiment every day getting all these different furries sorted..stick to the rice and chicken and you will be fine in no time š poor baby…hate those plops!
