I have SOOOOOO much to tell you so get some dog bones and get comfy.
Thursday, Mom came home with new toys for us all:
Macy and Molly deaded their toys fast! Not me, though.
I just stood guard over mine and didn’t let anyone near it.
Then on Friday night I had steak for dinner!!!! Well, we ALL had steak for dinner. Macy, Molly, and I all put on our best puppy eyes and it worked!
Unfortunately, Saturday was the dreaded day….1st haircut since winter began!
It took FOREVER! I was so bummed about it but then, out of nowhere, joy took over for the sadness! How refreshing! I ran and zoomied like I’d never run or zoomied before!
Just look at all of the hair Mom stole:
***”Mom!!! Seriously?!?! That’s the picture you took? It hardly looks like anything! My friends are going to think I’m crazy! What? I am NOT crazy!”***
Excuse my Mom’s poor photography skills. I swear the pile was MUCH larger than it looks.
Anywho, moving on.
Sunday was a blast! Mom took me to the flea market where I got so many treats from the vendors AND I got some chicken noodle soup (I’m still unsure about the ingredients of chicken noodle soup. I mean, I’m still here. I think):
When we were done there, we went home and laid out in the sun with Franklin:
Do you notice how my right ear (your left) sticks out funny in all of the pics? Mom says it only does that when I’m really happy. She just realized it yesterday. Go back and look at my pics and you’ll see she’s right!
Moving on to Sunday afternoon.Molly decided she was going to be a goat and climb the mountain of fire wood that we have. All sorts of things hide out in the wood: bunnies, moles, even rats (yuck). Every time Mom tried to catch her for a picture on top of the “mountain” she got down.
Finally, we ended the weekend with much needed snuggles. It all started out nice and quiet:

It was so excellent! My toy is tucked away in a drawer, safe and sound! Macy was trying to dead it so Mom protected it. *ear licks*

What a great time! I mean except for the haircut. Molly’s right about the woodpile. I’ve seen all kinds of critters hanging out in there, especially chipmunks and mousies. It looks like you had some nice weather too. We’re still cold here, but warming up to 60º tomorrow. Believe me, that’s a heat wave around these parts in early March!

Noodle you had a pawesome weekend!!! I think your haircut looks ADORABLE!!! Probably is much cooler too! I went to the groomer today and had an oatmeal bath and had my fur conditioned with oatmeal creme rinse!!! (Mom said it was a belated birthday present)…….I feel soooo much better! That was a lot for one weekend. We are happy to see that Franklin is looking good. Rocky came to visit for a while and Sidney did his best to annoy the poor boy. We love your haircut. Your sisters are lucky that they are wash and wear dogs.

Franklin is much happier lately. Now that she’s in her own pen, away from the chickens, she seems to be imprinting on Mom like when she was a duckling which makes Mom very happy. Poor Rocky. Sidney’s always giving him the business. BOL. Yes, I am VERY jealous that Macy and Molly don’t have to get grooming torture like I do. Have a great week! *ear licks*

Hi Noodly Poodly buddly – I like the idea of steak but, I don’t understand why they have to cut your coat. Mine just gets brushed regularly and the brush pulls so much out. I can’t imagine having it cut… but then my coat is lot different from yours isn’t it. Anyway, not to worry as it’ll grow back (and then they’ll cut it again BOL!). Woof! Ray.

Hi Ray! Since my coat isn’t normally that long, I was panting all the time from being hot. I started laying on the floor which I never did before (why lay on the floor when there’s a comfy couch?). Now that my hair is cut, I’m back to snuggling and playing and prancing. *ear licks* Noodle
