Today is my dumb-dumb’s birthday. Yes, she is MY dumb-dumb and I love her and I’m so happy it’s her birthday (maybe she’ll calm down now).
You’ve had quite the 1st year of life, Macy. You’ve been a stray, you were in the kill-shelter, you got adopted, you annoyed me, you got bit by fire ants, you harassed me, you even tried to kill me and got your first sweater. You irritated me, you had your first experience with fireworks on 4th of July, dressed up for your first Halloween, had Thanksgiving, enjoyed Christmas, and celebrated your first New Year’s Eve. Finally, you ended your first year with a bang by trying to off yourself. Yep, you’ve had an eventful year, little sister.
Know what? As irritating as you are, I wish you many, many more!
