My relationship with dumb-dumb (Macy) seems to be changing. Although I still hate playing with her or being near her while she’s awake, I am kind of starting to love her while we sleep.

Even if her big head weighs 87 lbs….

I don’t think you all understand how psychotic Macy really is. That’s why I asked Mom to take this video (volume up for true effect):

If she plays like this by herself, can you even imagine how much she harasses Molly and me???

Anywho, I’ve really been working on my puppy eyes. With 2 sisters, I really have to work it so I get the attention I deserve. For instance, Sunday evening when Mom and Dad were eating chicken and pasta, I worked really hard to look super cute. The girls were outside playing so I had NO competition. It was a perfect time to practice.

img_20160124_182302.jpgimg_20160124_182320.jpg

I didn’t get any so clearly I need to practice more. *sigh*

A lot of you have asked about Molly. She seemed to be doing better since her surgery and re-surgery. Until yesterday. She was SOOOOO grumpy. Mom and Dad figured she must be in pain and when they tried to look in her mouth, she wasn’t letting them. So then they knew. Mom gave Molly a tramadol and she was out for the night. At one point, she was suckling in her sleep and Mom looked over and saw this:

img_20160126_215728.jpg

She was sleeping with her tongue out!

She seems to be a bit happier this morning. Molly is coming with me to the vet on Saturday for a check-up while I get my shots. Hopefully she gets a good report.

We also know her back is bothering her again. Remember the first vet thought there might be something wrong with her spine? Well, when Mom and Dad come home, she goes to jump up and her back makes a “U” (she can’t fully extend) and she yelps sometimes. They other day she went to jump up the stairs on the deck and she yelped, too. Now Mom has to bring THAT up to the vet.

The good news in all of this, Mom is so distracted, she doesn’t even realize it’s been about a month since I got a bath, and 2 months for Molly and Macy. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I am Noodle – King of Dirt and Dust!

That’s all for now! BYE!

Hi Noodle Streudal Schmoodle Doodle buddy. I play with my toys like Macy! I also play with squirrels the same way…. but then they go limp. I prefer my toys ‘cos they are always fun to play with and they squeak! Squirrels stop squeaking about the same time that they go limp. Woof! Ray.

    • I can’t believe you’ve actually caught not just 1 squirrel but MULTIPLE?!?! Lucky! *ear licks*

Well 3 squirrels now! As for baths, I haven’t had one yet! I get brushed regularly and my coat is lovely and soft and I don’t smell other than a little bit doggy! I think baths are over rated, as long we don’t roll in yukky stuff of course… and then we deserve everything that we get! 🙂

      • We have very minimal grass in our yard. I know in pics it looks green but there’s a lot of space between blades of grass. So we get A LOT of dirt in our furs because we all like to go outside and do back wiggles.

The same bath thing happened to us to Noodles, two months went by and mom realized it, she was so ashamed and promptly gave us our bathes, which we loves. good thing she remembered the food.

I’m sad to say it, Noodle, but you and Macy are so cute together. Sorry, but it’s true. Your puppy eyes are the best. I think there’d be worse things than daily medication if it helps Molly be painfree most of the time–after being cleared with the vet. Poor girl. And maybe Macy needs a playmate her age. I don’t know about where you live, but where I live people often go together on walkies and let their dogs run together until they are really tired. Maia sends kisses.

    • It’s only because we’re both white with black spots. Daily medication is okay but daily PAIN medication is sad. Especially because it can damage kidneys and the liver. Molly LOVES playing with Macy. I think part of why she’s still grumpy at all is because Mom’s not letting them rough house. We live in a rural area within the city…if that makes sense. Mom and Dad don’t feel comfortable taking Macy around other dogs because she is quite rude and her “play” behavior can easily be mistaken by another dog’s owner as “aggressive” because she jumps and grabs on like she’s going for a ride. She plays with an open mouth too. Maybe one day when she’s less puppy and better behaved. Tell Maia I send ear licks back!

  13. Oh Noodle I don’t see how your Mom and Dad could ignore the puppy eyes look – it’s great! Maybe it’s because you’re stinky since you haven’t had a bath?? HAHAHA We sure do hope that Molly is OK…..

Yucky! Baths! Rocky and Selena HATE them. Miss D was not a fan but she didn’t try to escape the tub or anything like that. Then again, she probably knew she couldn’t physically escape the tub on her own. *sigh, poor Miss D*. All eight paws crossed for Molly’s vet visit on Saturday. Back pain is never fun! and on top of that, jaw pain?! I’d be grumpy too.

    • I don’t try to escape but I do run in circles to drive Mom crazy. Khia, my sister that passed back in April, was 80 lbs and used to try to escape. Mom HATED giving her baths because she had to keep one hand on her at all times pushing her in. *sigh, poor Miss D & Khia* Macy jumps out while she’s soapy. Mom doesn’t think it’s very funny. Thanks for the extra paw crosses. We’ll let you know what we find out! *ear licks*

Ok, Macy is a nut with her toys, right!! She is so sweet sleeping with you and cuddling. It is good to have a sleeping buddy. And we will be praying for Molly at the vet’s office that they can figure out what is causing her to be grumpy. You are such good sisters to her!!

      • I think I know because Mom explains this “lesson” to me all the time. She always told me when I was harassing Khia and Mya that one day, when I was old and grumpy, she was going to get a puppy for payback. I’m ONLY 4!!!! I mean, I’m a little grumpy but that’s only because of Macy! If there was no Macy, I’d be young and happy. *sigh*

  22. Just now got to see the video…it made me dizzy with all her head shaking! Too funny. Sam would have ripped the toy open (decapitation), strewn the stuffing EVERYWHERE and then gone into another room being bored. Killing toys is not long lasting fun for a Standard Poodle but Macy sure looks like she enjoys it. ღ
