Last night, Mom took Macy out for her usual evening play time in the yard. She also let me out at the same time. At first, everything was great. Mom took some pictures of me (I’m reclaiming MY blog!)

Mom:

Mom: “Noodle, say ‘cheese!'”

“Cheeeeeeese”

Then I walked around the yard with Mom and went and sniffed the papaya tree that has a beautiful papaya on it!

Hopefully this one is edible. The ones from last year stunk when they were cut open. Not a rotting stink but just a yucky stink.

After our little stroll, I watched from my man cave as Macy tracked a mole.

When she was done, she decided to track…ME! She had the nerve to enter MY man cave. The only one who was ever allowed in MY man cave was Khia.

Not only did Macy come into MY man cave, she attacked me! I have photographic evidence:

wpid-img_20150928_183241.jpg

See that blur to the left of the green spot way in the back? That’s Macy. The green spot – my eye glowing as I ran for my life!

We tussled under there and she rolled me all around. When we finally came out, we were both black.

Mom was NOT amused.

Do you know what happens when we’re dirty and Mom’s not amused? Yep…you got it – we get baths!

Not only did I have to get another bath so soon but I had to get a bath by Dad!

Again, Mom sat in the bathroom to supervise and instruct but he still did it all wrong. Mom told him not to forget my scratchies – he scratched before there were bubbles and didn’t scratch when there were bubbles. *sigh* I hope Mom’s arm gets better soon. I can’t possibly do a 3rd Dad bath. (Sorry Dad…I love you so much but your baths aren’t filled with love like Mom’s. She gives me kisses during my bath to make me feel better.)

Oh, the best part of bath time (this is a first – I’ve never had a good part of bath time, let alone a BEST part) was when Macy got locked in her crate for like 2 hours while she was drying. But holy yuck did she stink! I have NEVER, EVER smelled a dog that smelled so horrible wet as Macy does. PEEEE YEWWWW!

Gotta run! Talk to you later, friends!

  2. I enjoyed how relentless Macy was with the mole, but when she turned that same perseverance to you, IN your very own mancave- OMGoodness! That was not fun at all! I’m sorry about the extra bath, buddy. Half you got some peace and quiet out of it, though. Hope your mom’s arm gets better. And that she doesn’t use it to bathe you for a long time!

  8. We’d be very worried about an attack like that. She was going for your throat. Be very careful, little Noodle!

Dat’s really skerry, Noodle. Sumtimes dose bully-type dogs goes after us terriers and don’t let go… I knows cuz one did dat to me– in my own front yard. Luckily my Daddy got it off me. She looks like she is goin’ fur da back of yer neck… Dat’s very dangerous… if she got ya under dere, in yer mancave, how could yer peeps help ya?

Bully-types can be hard for people (and us dogs, too) to read… sumtimes dey will play bow like they wants to play, but then attack. And dey will wag their tail while attackin’– other breeds don’t do that.

Pawlease be careful– you is just a lil guy and no match fur her.

    • It is scary and Mom is scared for me because Macy just doesn’t know her own strength OR size. It’s a difficult predicament we’re all in. We’re trying to figure out what to do. Thanks for stopping by, Finley! *ear licks* Noodle

Your papaya looks great. Ours had horrible worms crawling all over the inside. Sweet Noodle don’t let Macy catch you in a tight space again. We feel for you. We are hoping that your mom is better soon.

A pup’s man cave is strictly off limits!! And then to toss you around so you needed a bath?! That’s downright rude!

    • I’ve seen the mole once before. Dad actually caught it with his bear…no…bare hands. Maybe bear. Anywho, the mole was digging and every minute or so he’d come to the surface to peak around. Dad would sneak up a few inches every time the mole went back down. Finally he was right next to the opening in the ground. Mr./Mrs. Mole came out and Dad snatched him right up. Mom has the whole thing on video. No worries, Dad let Mr./Mrs. Mole go after Mom and I looked at him. *ear licks* Noodle

  15. Aw, Noodle, I wish you and Macy became best siblings (ok, how about just tolerant siblings). She’s just a young thing, not familiar with the ways of the world. You need to show her the ropes and explain the rules about entering the man cave and stuff like that. But nicely, so she doesn’t wig out and you guys have to have another bath! 😉

  16. You gotta think of a way to keep Macy out of your man-cave. I wonder how though….
