For today’s Memory Monday, I thought I would go back to a time when my life was organized, sane, and puppy-free.
You know, a time when I got prime seating on my Dad, not a stupid puppy. 
Now I have to hide UNDER my Dad.
A time when I got to go to the flea market. Not this adventure-stealer:
When all the dirt in the yard was mine, not hers:
When I hid out in my man cave because I WANTED to, not because I HAD to.
*Side note: that’s NOT my drinking water! It’s a tray from a plant.*
Ahhh yes, my memory reminds me of last Wednesday morning when my life was much simpler.
Now, I have a stupid little sister. Yes, apparently she’s staying seeing as Mom and Dad came home with new collars, harnesses, and an ID tag for her on Saturday.
I should’ve just played with the equally stupid cat. Maybe if I had, none of this would have happened. And don’t even get me started on those 2 together. They make me nauseous. Just look at this nonsense:
He LETS her get in his face! He LETS her lick him! He LETS her give him flea bites! Sure, he hits her but he doesn’t use his claws.
Oh, I also remember when I thought she was just visiting and I actually played with her:
Ugh! I can’t believe I was so naive! Does anyone know how to turn back time?

Noddle Noodle BOL BOL BOL! I really thought she was visiting. Then, last night, Mom called her Macy Pebbles and then our last name. My last name! I looked at Mom with my best set of puppy eyes EVER and pleaded…alas, it didn’t work ❤

Noodle I understand… butt that girl has such a cute voice…and I bet a lot of people awwed and ohhhed as you dad visited the flea market (more than 87 people? of course, right?) You are still the number one, I’, sure…it’s YOUR BLOG and it says NOODLE4president, so don’t be sad about that little sister, little sisters are great too… you can blame all mischief on her :o)

Easy, I just asked Dad (Mom’s at work) and Dad said that everyone practically stopped in their tracks and said, “Oh my God! That dog is BEAUTIFUL!” At least, she’s easy on the eyes, I guess. Ahhhh, I can blame stuff on her. So very true! Let me see what I can come up with my very wise friend!

Oh Noodle that video of you and Macy playing is SO CUTE! I think she wants to be friends….I think she’s looking to YOU to be the one who shows her the ropes around the house…..she just wants to fit in…….you, being the little gentleman that you are can do that to make her feel welcome and wanted which – after all – is what ALL of us want right?

This is quite the conundrum, N. She seems cute and friendly, but looking at it from your viewpoint, I definitely see what you mean. She steals all the good stuff. You may have to end up embracing the change and accepting the new normal. It might even turn out to be….dare I say… Fun!

See, Noodle, the secret to being an “only pup” lay in your puppyhood. You were too good and showed how smart you are, so your mommy and daddy felt it would be easy to add another sibling to your family. I, on the other hand, put up a BIG stink (pun intended) about getting housebroken – it took so long and cost so much in rug cleanings that my family says they can’t handle a sibling for me. Which is what I was aiming for the whole time – but don’t tell them!! (Personally, I think you’re going to end up loving your new brother – he’s adorable!)

You are now the pack leader – you can show her a thing or three, one of which is to leave you alone. But remember, a year from now we think you all will be buddies, maybe not best buddies, but still pals. She will always look up to you figuratively ( but down physically). You can show her the way!

Break down Noodle. She is going nowhere. Shoko came and stayed and stayed…she never left, I kept waiting but now I can’t imagine life alone….she has some pretty good ideas for a little sis. Give Macy half a chance and you’ll find the nice things about her.
