I think my Mom has a very common item confused.

This is a pool noodle:

I am a Noodle but NOT a pool noodle, Mom!!!!

She did manage to get 2 pictures that made it look like I was having the time of my life:

Really, I was just panting.

When she finally let me out, I did zoomies allllll over our property (1.25 acre). When she finally caught up with me on the back deck, I looked like I had black boots on. BWAHAHAAHHAHAHA!

As per her norm of water torture, after the pool I got a bath. Seriously, lady???

Well, after my bath, I did the fastest zoomies throughout the house that any dog has ever done in all of history (according to Mom). Yes, I went so fast for so long that I actually pulled a muscle and was pathetically crippled and sad for the rest of the day:

I still have a little limp today but not as bad as yesterday.

Anywho, I hope all celebrating in the US have an excellent and safe 4th of July!

    Oh poor Noodle… I hope the limping goes completely away soon… I hope the water torture is forgotten soon and maybe a burger or a steak fresh from the grill will help you to feel better :o) Happy 4th of july :o)

    Oh, Noodle! Zoomies aren’t supposed to hurt or become debilitating. You DO look like you’re having a ball on the raft. Excellent camera work from your mom. I’m sorry about the bath. Have a restful day. I agree with Easy… maybe a burger….

    Poor Noodle! Water torture? TWICE in one day? A pool AND a bath? Goodness…..sorry you wound up with an injury from the whole thing but REST and I bet you’ll be zooming again soon!

      Thank for the tickley lickies. *sigh* I don’t know Siddhartha. It LOOKS like she has fun in the water but it doesn’t feel fun when I go in. And I happened to like my mud “boots”. They were very stylish.

    My crew would love the pool, but the bath, yeah, not so much. They sometimes do zoomies after baths too though…I’ll have to remind them to be careful not to hurt theirselves!

    Oh Noodle…I hates the water too. What is with peeps and water?? Okays, okays, so I’m SUPPOSE to be a ‘water dog’ (I gots Otterhound in me), butts I don’t even likes gettin’ my paws wet! Ma got me one of those kiddie pools when I was a pup, and I looked at her like she frickin’ lost her mind! So, I used it as a water bowl…hehehe
    I do likes the mud boots! I would thinks that that was some good revenge, butts it seems to backfire on you with the dreaded water torture! Oh wells, at least you smell minty clean now! ā˜ŗ Sorry abouts pullin’ a hammy…I do that lots. (Ma has some Rimadyl on hand for those special times)

    Noodle, you and Choppy have somewhat similar ideas about water. Except Choppy does enjoy algae-filled ponds and pools for some reason. Clean ones, not so much.
