Hi, everyone!

I know…I know…I KNOW! I have been missing in action. Sorry :\

Things have been a little crazy and I needed to devote my time to Mom and not my blog. We’ve been doing everything together.

Last weekend we went to the farm store:

Then we napped:

Today we sat out in the sun for a little bit:

(WHOA! I look SUPER long in that picture!!!)

Then we had to clean Fred’s tank. Who’s Fred?

wpid-img_20150524_194836.jpg

That’s Fred. No, not Mom, silly gooses. In the bowl!

Fred is an African Bullfrog. He’s lived here longer than me! I don’t really go near Fred. He’s scary and he has teeth. Yep, you read that right the first time – TEETH! That’s why he’s in the bowl. Mom didn’t want to lose a finger while taking a picture with him. Dad is brave. He holds him in his bare hands. Mom would have but Fred was hungry and, well, Mom’s fingers would probably make for tasty morsels.

So that’s about it for right now. I gotta run…literally. Mom’s trying to get me into a bath!

Love and ear licks!

    • Hahahaha! He lives in a large tank that is 90% water, 10% land. He eats rats mostly. Mom and dad used to have a reptile business and they acquired him from a friend who was moving out of the country. Fred used to go to all of the reptile expos with them.

      P.S.
Those are my “stick legs” *snicker*

btw: you need no bath… you just had a sunbath with your mom, think that counts for a bath too :o) have a good memorial Day!

Thanks for the update, N. You (and your mom’s fingers) are wise to steer clear of Fred. He looks evil. Like Jabba the Hut evil. Yikes.

    Love and licks,

Hi Noodle Buddy! Nice to hear from you again. As for Fred??? He looks really mean, probably because he was hungry? You’re looking good. Have a great day. Woof! Ray.

    • How big were the turtles? We had some really big shaping turtles when we had the reptile business. Big enough to snap one of my tiny legs off! I wish we still had some babies. We would send them to your mom. I hope you got to enjoy some sun today. We did and now it’s pouring. Love and ear licks to my bestest cat friend in the whole world!

      • Wow! She made them grow good! Manitou sounds very cool. We had some snappers that were very old, very big, very scary, and VERY mean. None were nice. With love, time and patience, even the meanest types of animals can be tamed. Wow you’ve been having crazy weather! A year ago today we had a really bad hail storm that caused a lot of damage. When it started pouring, mom silently freaked out, hoping it wouldn’t happen again. Our trees and flowers are growing huuuuge. I bet yours will too.

  13. Howzit Noodle! Good to see ya back. Fred is one king size bufo. Reminded me of our cane toads. I’d keep my distance…

    • Hi Maxwell. Lucky for me, he’s not a bufo (not that I’d get close enough to lick him). Not so lucky for me, he’s a bullfrog who eats furry animals. Yes, distance is good.

  14. You’re right Noodle, sometimes it is family time and everything else must wait. Your family has had quite a shake up and its at these times we need family and family moments. Neat guy, that Fred. You can keep him though. I talk so much he would probably bite me.

    Loves ya,

    Shoko
