Hi, friends!
What a trip! It all went by so fast.
First, I had to drive to Tennessee to pick up my sweet Lexi. Of course, when I got there I gave her those bacon roses she loved so much on Valentine’s Day:
Then we said goodbye to her Mom and Dad. BUT first, we asked them to take a picture of us in the Ferrari I rented for the weekend:
It took FOREVER to get down there but I was in great company so I didn’t mind one bit.
We got there just in time to watch the sunset:
Oops! Got caught kissing. *snicker*
We got all cleaned up and then headed out to eat:
At this point, we were both pretty tired so we went back to our hotel and watched some movies. We also got room service for dessert – Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Bacon Sprinkles.
We woke up bright and early the next morning and headed out to the beach before it got too crowded:
Cool spot, huh?
We hung out on the beach for awhile but then someone said something about sand fleas and we RAN!
We did a little shopping at Bark Avenue to get some souvenirs for our parents. Hopefully they like bacon-flavored bones, peanut butter chewies, and Florida-shaped plush-toys with squeakers. Otherwise, I wonder – What EVER will they do with them?!?! 😉 😛
We were having such a wonderful time but we knew had to head home to our moms…the worriers they are. 87 million hours later, we made it to Tennessee so I could drop my sweet Lexi off and then I headed back to Florida…alone. I miss her already!
Good thing Summer Vacation is right around the corner. Who knows, maybe we’ll go to Disney World?
You sure know how to plan a date, Noodle!

Hey Noodle buddy. There’s something not quite right with those pics. What were you really up to? Did you go to China? Woof! Ray.

I would never go to China without you. That’s our trip, Ray!

I don’t want to go to China any more. I keep hearing comments about how they make stuff really cheap, and cut corners, and often ship hazardous stuff out to us. They seem to only care about making money and I don’t like people like that. Can we go to Switzerland instead? I love Swiss Cheese! Woof! Ray.

What a fantastic vacation you two had. I have never been to Florida. Never mind South Beach. It looks like the kind of place I’d love. Warmth!! That’s what I like…warmth. Those flowers you gave Lexi are beautiful….bacon roses…wonder if mom would like some?
Great adventure my friend.

My stars!! 90F, that’s like 32C…that’s hot. We usually never get it that hot here. We would all faint from the heat…we are more used to the cold. Imagine 32C. Wonder what it would be like?

I’ll bet. Mom says its humid there too and the humidity makes it feel hotter. Kali and I would be gasping for breath…..maybe its not such a great idea….think I’ll stay right here in Central BC. It’s going to be 21C today and that’s warm for us….let’s see 21C = 69F. Aren’t we whimps? MOL

We are sorry that you didn’t have time to stop and visit. People would have been impressed if a Ferrari had been parked in our driveway. Think of us next time you visit south Florida.
