    I volunteered in an animal shelter for 5 years. It was the most depressing thing that I have ever done. People would just drop off their pets in the hopes that someone would take them. The excuses were horrible. We are happy that you got a wonderful home. Shelby and Corky were rescues. The love for them is the same as the expensive pets. I hope a lot of people view this video.

    It’s sad that people just dump their pets when they’re tired of them but always so heart-warming when new homes are found…….bless those who give animals another chance.

    While it’s dreadfully sad that people dump their pets at rescues, maybe it’s better they find a real furever home that will take good care of them. I try to see the glass half full rather than half empty even though I just want to thump those cretins on the head!

      Well that is certainly a more pleasant though. It’s just so terribly sad that they only have a few days to find that furever home before lack of space causes euthanization of a healthy animal. It’s so very sad.
