I don’t like it. Nope. I don’t like it one bit!
As soon as Dad throws her blanky over her at night, I go bonkers. I HAVE to be able to see her. I get scared that maybe she’s disappeared. I mean, you never know right?
For some reason, Khia doesn’t care that I’m worried for her safety and she gets very grumpy.
Exhibit A
Exhibit B
Finally, I got her uncovered and was able to fall asleep knowing she was safe.
You would think Mom or Dad would realize the severity of the issue…
Sometimes ….well I hate to put this in print….parents can be rather slow about what makes us happy. stella rose

Oh, Noodle, I do hope your Mom and Dad take your concerns seriously. My brother Walter hides under a blanket all of the time. It doesn’t worry me — I’m a cat. Frankly, I wish he’d stay under the blanket more than he does. But I can see where you might be concerned. Best of luck!

When Jamison hides under the blanket I am not concerned AT ALL! Like you with Walter, I wish he’d stay there!

Mom is just like you, N. I like sleeping under the covers, but she keeps on digging me out saying I need air. When I need air, I will come out myself….. Duh! You should get in under the covers with Khia. It’s cozy.
Love and licks,

She doesn’t like to share her blanky – that’s why I usually snuggle with Mom. Khia wakes up in the middle of the night panting all the time. Mom says she shakes the bed so much it makes her “sea-sick”. Just another reason why she should at least keep her head outside.

C’mon Noodly buddy! You’re talking about people (your Mom & Dad). They’re not as logical and as understanding as us. They’re not going to change so you have to! Woof! Ray.

Ugh. Maybe Khia should change 🙂

Thank you very much. Why is this so hard for Mom and Dad to see?!?!

Noodle that’s what my mom always does with my dad… and he gets crumpy too. He should watch your videos so he will see that she does it only for his safety :o)

Nothing to worry about, Noodle.
I myself LOVE being under blankets. I can stay under them forever and not move a muscle. 😉

Personally, I HATE when Mom tries to cover me. Even when I am cold after a bath, I can’t stand being wrapped in a blanket. Now, this is a different issue than what you are experiencing, Noodle. Maybe you could try to think of it as hide and seek, since everyone else – even Khia – is happy with the situation. Although, I do understand if you prefer to find a way to make them change. After all, speaking from my own experience with me, it is what makes you happy that is most important.

Lexi, I think Jacques would agree with you – it’s all about your wants and needs. 🙂 Though I think he would stay wrapped in a blanket if that meant he got to stay in the bed…

Lexi, you understand me. I used to hate being wrapped in a blanket our even being under one but I’m slowly learning to like it. I guys that happens when your Mom steals all your fur and it’s freezing outside 🙂

We humans are slow learners, Noodle. The language barrier certainly doesn’t help us. Keep doing what you’re doing… Your Mom and Dad will *eventually* catch on. I know Jacques is holding out hope…
