Yep, it was time again last night. Monthly torture. Cruel, evil torture. BUT Mom made up for it slightly because she got me a super cool lion terry bath robe:
Super cute, huh? I mean….fierce….very fierce!
Then I had to do my after-torture carrot begging:
Got my carrots and followed up with the necessary after-bath zoomies:
All of which tuckered me out completely:
As I slept, Mom had to look at each of my spots. She’s clearly obsessed.
Can a guy little peace around here, huh?

Sounds horrible buddy ………. apart from the food! I love carrots, but I’m told that I don’t process them very efficiently, whatever that means. As for the bath ………. I’d like to see them try! Woof! Ray.

That’s one cool lion robe – almost makes the bath thing worth it right? Zoomies help dry you out real good too. So your Mom is obsessed with your spots huh? Has she ever counted them? You could have a contest for who gets closest to the correct number……! If your Mom ever tries to connect the dots with a pen I suggest you ZOOM behind that chair in the living room and STAY!

Oh noodle, I know baths seem really inconvenient – but do what I did, I kinda just embraced it because I know it’s gonna happen no matter what! Also, your bath robe is definitely fierce! I want one too!

Like you, I do not enjoy baths at all, Noodle, but I tolerate it for the after bath zoomies (and getting dried off with the towel is fun, too). That is a very jaunty lion robe you have!

Yes, she does, especially when she first takes me out of the tub. She says it’s to keep from from shaking off and spraying water all over the apartment.

When I do my after-bath zoomies, there are no big dogs growling at me. Only Mom…. Your spots are very fascinating. I can see why your mom stares at them a lot.

Dante and Ziva can sympathize, yesterday we did trail run and they got all muddy. So not only did they get a bath, but it was also a nail trimming day!! Thankfully they are getting much better about holding still for nail trims. 🙂 We bribe them with lots of cheese during their pedi’s.
