BLOOD WORK UPDATE !

I’m gonna live! I’m gonna liiiiiiiiiveeeeeee!  Ok, I didn’t really think I was dying….neither did Mom……but still!

Mom called the vet around 10:30 this morning. The receptionist said she would see if Dr. M was in his office by chance. She put Mom on hold and about 30 seconds later, picked back up and told her that Dr. M said the rest of my blood test results JUST came back [likely story] and he was reviewing them and he would call me later. The call came in at 1:30 this afternoon. Dr. M said, “Noodle’s blood work looks good. Actually, it’s pretty amazing.” He said he could find no medical explanation for my weight gain or the other…. “issues”.

Mom is VERY relieved, and me? Well I’m just glad she’s not going to be as upset tonight when she gets home from work as she was last night!

By the way, Mom said we are still not going to see Dr. M again because of all of the doctor’s we’ve seen there, there was the least bit of connection with him. She is also planning on calling Dr. C, the owner of the practice, to find out what the deal is with only 1 doctor reviewing the blood work. If that is the case, from now on, we will only be seeing Dr. L and Dr. K.

Dr. K has been helping Mom with Mya, regulating her diabetes. Dr. K spends a lot of time on the phone with Mom and answers every single question she has without ever making Mom feel rushed or as if her concerns are being dismissed.

Personally, Dr. L is my favorite. She goes bananas over me. She gets down on the floor with Khia and me and gives us kisses and lets us lick her face…even with our peanut butter tongues! Yes, peanut butter tongues – that office has found the secret to earning the trust of their doggy patients by having the doctor always enter the room with a jar of peanut butter. Last time I saw Dr. L, I got the first scoop of peanut butter from the jar! Mmmmm…..delicious!
