Hi, everybody! It’s me…Noodle!

I’ve been reading all of the wonderful comments you have been leaving on Roll Call! and I am amazed that I really do have friends from nearly everywhere!

Not too much has been going on this weekend. We’ve mostly stayed inside and lazed around. Everything is back to normal with Mom. My puppy eyes worked but I really sealed it yesterday – I jumped on her chest and nestled into her neck. When I do this, she won’t move. She’ll just hold me until I wake up because she says it’s too precious and it makes her feel so needed.

I love when we snuggle. It’s the besties!

Khia seems to be feeling much better today. We wrestled a lot and she was even playing fetch with Dad a few minutes ago!

Speaking of today, can you believe it was 80 degrees here?!?! 2 days ago there was ice and I had to wear my jacket in the middle of the day and today it was summer weather!

Anywho, tomorrow is the day – the day I find out if my thyroid is broken. Mom’s nervous. She’s nervous that it could be broken but she’s also nervous that if it isn’t, then something else is making me gain weight, act ungentlemanly, and pant all the time. She worries about me…a lot! I told her not to worry because I am Super Noodle and I’ll be fine no matter what!

I’ll be sure to update you guys as soon as I know what the doctor tells Mom! Enjoy the rest of the weekend because tomorrow’s Monday and that means most of our Mom’s and Dad’s have to leave us to go to work.

    Noodle, dear, you are so smart to use your snuggle trick. Who could resist? I have one too, even though I am not normally a snuggler. When Mom picks me up and I want something, I mean I want her to feel especially loved, I throw the side of my head onto her chest. After grunting and saying “oww” she always says, “Oh, how sweet.” 🙂
    Sometimes I do it more than once.

    Did I tell you that I started on thyroid meds about a month ago? I have lost 1.5 pounds without even trying. I’m starting to get my hourglass figure back. Wooowoooowooo!

      You don’t snuggle?!?! But snuggles are the very best thing in the whole world! They’re better than bacon! Of course, because you don’t snuggle, that makes your rare snuggles even more precious to your mom.

      I didn’t know you were on thyroid medicine! What were your symptoms? Just weight gain?

        Yes, just weight gain. Mom had geriatric (aghh!) blood work done when it was on special in January. Thyroid was part of it. That’s how we found out. The pills are really tiny. The vet gave a double dose pill so Mom could break it in half and it would cost half as much. Smart vet.
        As a groomer, Mom has often told clients to have their dog’s thyroid checked because of what happened when she would shave them. She would use a regular blade that she always uses, and their head, for example, would look fine, but then their back or parts of their back would look scalped, right down to the skin. When her clients listened to her, they always found an abnormal thyroid reading. Smart Mommy.
        Oh, and nothing is better than bacon!

    Cuddling is the best! I am anxious to hear your test results. If you need medicine, maybe you’ll get to eat it in a glob of peanut butter or cream cheese every day. I love medicine!

    Sure hope the results are ok Noodles but don’t worry if you need thyroid meds. Our Harri had Hypothyroidism and was on thyroid meds all his life. He lived a great life and was never sick until he got really old.

    OMD it is 80 at your place… it is only 5 at OURS this AM.

    We have all of our paws crossed that they will find out what is going on wif you…we hope you have a real smart vet and not one like our Frankenvet….it is -2 here today, mom should have stayed home wif us and not went to work.

    That whole snuggle trick really is the best for getting back in the graces of us bi-peds. Way to use your noodle, Noodle! Enjoy the warm temps. It’s day 4 of snow here and was only 10 on our morning walk. Sam only enjoyed it for a little time, then the cold even started bothering this bouncy snow-boy! ❤
