Good evening, friends that I have from all over the world! (Roll Call!)

After I logged off last night, I put in some serious work to get back into Mom’s good graces. It started with sad puppy eyes.

I felt the ice melting…so I crept up onto the couch and into her lap.

Finally, the ultimate finishing move. I nestled into her chest with a sigh.

She fell in love all over again. Know how I know? She told me so! ❤ ❤ ❤

That brings me to Bare-Butt. She woke up looking much better than she did yesterday evening. Mom and Dad said one more night in the house should do it. Know where she’s sleeping? The guest room! BOL!!!!

And the info you’ve all been wondering about – my trip to the Vet.

It was 20 degrees on the way there. Khia and I both got to wear our jackets!

When we got there, Khia was a bit concerned. See, our vet moved to a new office and she’s never been there before. Well, come to think of it, neither have I but I LOVE the vet so I didn’t care.

I was up first. They took me in the back for my blood to be drawn because, and I quote, “Noodle, you get wiggly!” Apparently, Khia didn’t like it when I disappeared.

She got so upset, she needed a belly rub.

After 5 minutes, I think, I was back!

The doctor thinks that we definitely need to rule out my thyroid. It’s been over a year since it was checked last. He said it would explain a lot of the issues going on. As for Khia, the doctor thinks it may be arthritis so he gave her some pain medicine.

The doctor is supposed to call either tomorrow or Monday with my results. I’ll let you know as soon as I find out!

Oh, by the way, this was my super happy I-love-the-vet face:

Hi Noodly – I still remember going to my vets place when they flipped me over onto my side and then gave me a ginormous needle in my back. It really hurt. I had to have 2 more but they gave me something to make things easier so I didn’t mind those so much. With treats I will eventually forgive them.

  3. So glad you love the vets. I’m a tech in a vet office and I much rather have the nice ones than the naughty ones. Hope your tests come back normal.

I like my vet too, but I DON’T like those pointy things he always sticks in me!! So now when I see him, I tremble a lot and don’t lick him or get excited to see him anymore. 😦 I’m so glad Bare Butt is doing better – good thing your mom was so quick to figure out what was wrong with her!

I can’t believe she’s sleeping in the guest room. That happy I love the Vet face is very special!! Very cute Noodle. How could anyone stay angry at you??

We love our vet too. She is the best. Mom says that she has been to almost all of them before she found her.

  10. It’s great that you love your vet…..helps knowing you’re in good hands!! I have the thyroid-ickies myself so if you wind up having them, maybe we should start a club. I’m hyperthyroid on meds and my kitty cat Flynn in Devon, England is too. Seems there are a of Thyroid Brothers and Sisters out there!

    • All you have to do for puppy eyes is think of the saddest thing you can. Right before tears drop, that’s it! That’s the face that gets them! I’m so happy things are working out with Doc Becker! You can come visit anytime you want. 😀
