Hi, friends!
It’s Friday!!! That means Mom was home today 🙂
Mom had to take Cheney (the cockatiel who steals her from me) to the vet this morning. She was worried because his nares (nostrils) have been all red and inflamed. She wasn’t sure if he had a sinus infection or if it was an allergy. He’s also been picking some of his feathers all of a sudden.
Turns out: he’s STRESSED! I think I may have something to do with that. He knows I’m very jealous of him and sometimes Mom brings him where I am and I jump up and down like a pogo stick. BUT that’s minimal compared to the real stressor: his cage-mate, Corbin. When they first arrived at our house, Corbin was mean as could be and wanted to rip Mom’s fingers off. He only liked Dad. Now, he’s been acting really nice to Mom so she’s been paying attention to him, too. Cheney doesn’t want to share her love – I know the feeling, dude! Even though I’m not his biggest fan, I’m glad the lil guy is okay. I hope he feels better soon because being stressed is no fun.
When Mom came home she went crazy cleaning and organizing, again. I just sat back and watched.I don’t know why she does it. It’s not like it will stay tidy long. Human behavior is strange. Personally, I love a good mess!
Ooooo! Oooo! Speaking of messes. Oooo! Oooo! Jamison got in SO much trouble this morning. For some reason, Dad thought it would be a good idea to put a wooden nativity set on top of the table Jamison has been perching on everyday for the last 2 weeks. It all happened so fast and, at the same time, sooooo slow. He jumped, the wise men rolled, the camels fell, and Mary fell on her face. Mom almost throttled him. She chased him through the house screaming, “Jamison!!!! What the *insert grown up word here* is wrong with you?!?!?!?!” She knew it wasn’t really his fault but it was the straw that broke the camel’s back (almost literally…poor camels). Let me explain further: it is nearly a full moon. Every full moon, for the week before and a few days after, Jamison is INSANE! It’s as if he is actually possessed by a psychotic demon.
This all happened after he broke an antique Santa figurine last night. It shattered into a million pieces. Needless to say, Mom’s patience is wearing very thin right now. Dad even threatened to evict him!
Me? I’m over here all like, “Hi!”:
Hopefully, everyone will relax a little. Life’s too short to be stressed! Enjoy your Friday evening, friends!
Put something that Jamison REALLY likes as high up in the tree as possible. Then go and antagonize him really good, and when he is almost out of control, show him his thing in the tree….. and then wait. Hopefully he’ll go charging into the tree to get it and bring the whole thing down! He! He! Woof! Ray.

Ray, I’m telling you, he is being SO bad all on his own! He’ll likely being the tree down without my help before Christmas gets here. It’s a good thing you and i don’t live closer to one another. I have a feeling we’d get into lots of trouble lol

Well …………… they don’t taste too good, and having a furry moving lump in your mouth is not the best experience. Probably similar to if you got hold of Jamison!

Hahaha! Khia once got a squirrel tail. She went to grab the squirrel, got his tail, and when he went up in the tree his tail fell back down. She ate it!
